We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Design Engineer with 2–6 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to convert engineering concepts and requirements into accurate, manufacturable designs.

The candidate will be responsible for developing 2D drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering documentation while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams.

• Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD based on engineering specifications and project requirements.
• Develop mechanical components, assemblies, layouts, and production-ready designs.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings with appropriate dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, and manufacturing information.
• Modify and optimize existing designs based on performance, manufacturing, cost, and functional requirements.
• Perform design iterations and incorporate feedback from engineering, manufacturing, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant engineering standards, design practices, and company specifications.
• Work closely with manufacturing and production teams to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and easy to assemble.
• Review drawings and models to identify design errors, inconsistencies, and potential manufacturing issues.
• Maintain accurate CAD files, design documentation, revisions, and technical records.
• Support prototype development, testing, troubleshooting, and design improvements when required.
• Assist in selecting appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing processes for mechanical designs.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling, assemblies, part design, and detailed drawings.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD for 2D drafting and engineering documentation.
• Strong fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering, including mechanical design principles, materials, manufacturing processes, tolerances, and engineering drawings.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering requirements.
• Understanding of GD&T, dimensional tolerances, and design-for-manufacturing principles.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with engineering and manufacturing teams.

• Experience: 2–6 years in CAD design, mechanical design, or a related engineering role.
• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Practical experience working on mechanical components, assemblies, and production drawings is preferred.

The ideal candidate is a technically strong mechanical design professional who can take a concept from initial design through detailed documentation and manufacturing support. You should be comfortable working with SolidWorks and AutoCAD, have a strong understanding of mechanical engineering concepts, and demonstrate a structured approach to solving design challenges.
