About the Role: Paytm Money is looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial General Manager – Business Head, ETF to lead and scale our Exchange Traded Funds business. This role will own the complete ETF charter including business strategy, product growth, customer acquisition, partnerships, monetization, and market expansion, with the objective of building Paytm Money into India’s leading ETF investment platform. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who deeply understands capital markets, passive investing, brokerage ecosystems, and retail investor behavior, and can translate market opportunities into scalable business outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

Business Ownership & Strategy

* Own the end-to-end P&L for the ETF business

* Define and execute Paytm Money’s ETF growth roadmap

* Identify opportunities across equity ETFs, thematic ETFs, sectoral ETFs, debt ETFs, commodity ETFs, and global ETFs

* Build long-term strategy for ETF adoption and passive investing growth


Growth & Customer Acquisition

* Drive ETF user acquisition, activation, and retention

* Build investor journeys for first-time ETF investors and active traders

* Design customer growth strategies across app, digital channels, and partnerships

* Improve ETF discovery, conversion, and repeat investment behavior


Product & Platform Development

* Partner with Product and Engineering teams to build best-in-class ETF investing experiences

* Enhance ETF search, comparison tools, SIP capabilities, basket investing, and portfolio insights

* Drive innovation around passive wealth creation products


Revenue & Monetization

* Develop monetization levers for ETF-led business growth

* Optimize trading activity, AUM growth, and customer lifetime value

* Build scalable cross-sell opportunities into broader wealth products


Partnerships & Ecosystem

* Build and manage relationships with: Asset Management Companies, Exchanges, Market infrastructure participants, Distribution partners.

* Market Intelligence: Track ETF market trends, competitor strategies, regulatory developments, and investor behavior shifts, Translate insights into actionable business initiatives.

* Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing ETF business team across business, analytics, growth, and partnerships


What We’re Looking For:

* Experience10–15+ years of experience in: Broking, Wealth-tech, Asset management, Capital markets, Investment platforms


Domain Expertise:

* Strong understanding of: ETFs and passive investing products, Retail broking business models, Trading ecosystem and exchange mechanics, Investor acquisition and monetization


Leadership Skills:

* Strong business ownership mindset

* P&L management experience

* Strategic thinking with execution excellence

* Cross-functional stakeholder management
