Role Overview

As an SAP ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance technical solutions within the SAP ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and project stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into efficient technical specifications. Your work will directly influence the stability and scalability of our clients' SAP HANA environments, ensuring that custom developments align with industry best practices and deliver measurable improvements to business workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex custom objects using SAP ABAP to address specific business requirements and enhance system functionality.
• Design and implement robust BAPI and BADI interfaces to facilitate seamless integration between SAP and third-party applications.
• Build high-performance data models and analytics-ready structures using CDS Views to support real-time reporting in SAP HANA.
• Create and consume OData services to enable mobile and web-based applications to interact efficiently with SAP backend systems.
• Optimize existing code and database queries to improve system performance and ensure scalability within the SAP HANA environment.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and unit testing to maintain high standards of quality and minimize post-deployment issues for our clients.
  
  

• Demonstrated expertise in core SAP ABAP development with a strong focus on object-oriented programming and performance tuning.
• Proven ability to design and deploy CDS Views and OData services within complex SAP HANA landscapes.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate abstract business needs into technical architecture.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A minimum of 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP development environments.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid or office-based model across our locations in Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Noida.
• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
