Job Title: Backend Engineer (Python/Django) – AI & LLM Integration | Customer-Facing Role

Job Summary

Our Client is looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Python and Django, along with hands-on experience in building REST APIs and system integrations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of backend engineering and AI-driven solutions, including prompt writing and LLM workflows. The ideal candidate will be technically strong, adaptable, and comfortable interacting with customers when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using Python and Django.
• Design and build scalable RESTful APIs and manage third-party integrations.
• Work on LLM workflows, prompt engineering, and AI agent integrations (20% focus area).
• Ensure clean, maintainable, and high-performance code following best practices.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, AI, and frontend teams.
• Participate in solution discussions with clients and translate business requirements into technical implementations.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability and performance.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
  

• 80% Backend Engineering (Python/Django Development)
• 20% AI Agent & Prompt Engineering (LLM workflows; strong prompt writing is mandatory)
  
  

• Strong hands-on experience with Python and Django framework.
• Proven experience in building REST APIs and handling integrations.
• Mandatory experience in prompt writing and working with LLM-based workflows.
• Understanding of AI agents and automation use cases is preferred.
• Good communication skills and willingness to engage in customer-facing discussions.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
