Associate STEM Content Analyst - Bio Abstraction

We are looking for an Associate Content Editor to join our Abstraction team (IP Operations) in Noida. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Derwent products. The team consists of 100 plus colleagues. We have a great skill set in Life sciences and Engineers and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in comprehensive knowledge in the respective technology domain.

About You

• Must be a graduate in M.Sc Lifesciences (Biotechnology, Microbiology, Genetics), M.tech Biotechnology.
• Must be a fresh candidate or with not more than one year of experience in same or related job profile can also apply.
• Must have comprehensive knowledge in the respective bio domain.
• Must be skilled in MS Office applications.
• Must have excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  
  

What will you be doing in this role?

• Prepare Abstract for patents in accordance with a set of rules defined in DWPI Abstracting policy document.
• Perform detailed analysis of patents to provide accurate and editorially enhanced technical information of the patents in the form of summary that includes descriptive title, uses, novel features, advantages, and other key information related to the invention.
• Achieve production volume and quality targets.
• Maintain awareness of current developments and trends in technology areas related to your domain.
• To take responsibility for identifying technology training and developmental needs for you on an on-go basis.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager on a permanent or temporary basis.
  
  

About The Team

Abstraction Team in IP Operations is rresponsible for the enrichment and curation of high-quality content sets. We capture useful insights from the patent data to generate editorially enhanced technical summary of patent records, while adhering to individual and team goals, production targets, and defined quality standards. We analyze patents to create and deliver value-added content that enhances the research value to Patent Intelligence products and customers of Clarivate.

Hours of Work

9 am to 6 pm IST (including an hour break)
