Associate Business Analyst

Job Description

Experience Required - (2-4)years

• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
• Prepare functional artifacts like BRD / FSD with business process flows.
• Prototype the requirements to generate wireframes.
• Translate business needs into detailed user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, QA testers, and project managers to ensure that requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and feasibility studies to support decision-making.
• Support project estimation and scoping activities.
• Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by defining test cases and helping clients validate delivered features.
• Monitor project progress and provide updates on risks, issues, and changes in scope.
• Continuously evaluate business processes and recommend improvements to enhance software solutions.
  
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.

2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software development or IT services environment.

Understanding of Wireframing Tools & Trends as well as Mock Up development technologies.

Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar project/documentation platforms.

Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

Basic familiarity with Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI APIs) and awareness of their potential applications in software development or productivity workflows.

Exposure to REST APIs, JSON, and software architecture concepts.

Experience working with cross-functional or remote teams.
