Should possess in depth knowledge of Pre & Post contract cost management works and other associated works.
Dealing effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes, where applicable referring major changes to line manager,
Should verifying the measurement book and Bar Bending Schedule as per GFC/work done and mode of measurement as per IS codes.
Should review of all submitted bills as per Checklist and TAT and identify discrepancy and highlights same to right concern person. In depth knowledge of all applicable statutory compliances, insurances licenses etc.
Should be able to understand and interpretation of all contracts terms and condition , special contract condition , Force Majeure ,cost impact over time extension , change control and manage CCF log etc , should be able to identify variation , cost escalations claims ,extra items and other types of claims as per contract clauses.
Should be able to perform Cost audit work as necessary.
Should have working knowledge of Cost X , MS Excel and other related software.
Prepare and Review of Certificates of payment for client ,contractors etc. in line with contract T&C.
Should be able to assist Project lead in value engineering exercise.
Qualifications
Education – B.E/BTech - Electrical/Mechanical
He should have relevant experience of working preferably for a construction consultancy in India/abroad, hold a diploma/ graduate degree preferably in Cost Management and possesses good technical skills.
A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project conception stage, through all of the operational stages to completion and post-project review.
4 to 10 years work experience with demonstrated career growth graph.
