Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Trainer/Learning Specialist with a strong background in the Professional Writing (PW) domain and a solid foundation as an Educationalist. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the delivery and development of our AI Xcelerator program, a rigorous 12-month curriculum designed to upskill participants in advanced AI concepts and applications. This role requires prior experience in managing the learning and development lifecycle for a cohort of approximately 100 people with varying levels of conceptual AI knowledge, specifically within an AI Academy or similar structured learning environment, and a proven track record of successful collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs) and content developers.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Training & Delivery

Deliver High-Quality Training: Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for the AI Xcelerator program, focusing on both the initial 3-month Generic phase and the subsequent 9-month Specialization phase.

Domain Expertise Integration: Specifically leverage PW domain expertise to create relevant case studies, exercises, and examples, ensuring the AI specialization is directly applicable to professional writing, technical documentation, content creation, and related fields.

Instructional Excellence: Utilize diverse instructional techniques (e.g., lectures, workshops, simulations, hands-on labs) to accommodate different learning styles and ensure maximum knowledge retention.

Content & Curriculum Development

Curriculum Refinement: Collaborate closely with the AI Xcelerator Project Lead and SMEs to review, refine, and update training materials, ensuring content is technically accurate, educationally sound, and aligned with PW industry trends.

Assessment Design: Develop and implement effective assessment tools, quizzes, projects, and final evaluations to measure participant competency and program effectiveness.

Program Management & Collaboration

Cohort Management: Manage the learning journey of a cohort of approximately 100 participants, tracking progress, providing personalized feedback, and offering remedial support where necessary.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between the training cohort and the content/project teams, ensuring seamless communication and the practical application of conceptual knowledge learned in an AI Academy context.

Feedback and Improvement: Collect and analyze participant feedback to drive continuous improvement in the training content and delivery methodology.

🌟 Required Qualifications

Educational Background: A degree in Education, Organizational Development, Professional Writing, Communications, or a related field.

Domain Experience (PW): Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the Professional Writing (PW) domain (e.g., Technical Writer, Content Strategist, UX Writer, Editor), with a deep understanding of industry standards and emerging tools.

L&D Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Learning & Development or Trainer role, demonstrating proven success in managing the full training lifecycle for a cohort of 100 or more people.

AI Education Context: Prior, verifiable experience operating within or contributing to an AI Academy or similar formalized, large-scale training initiative focused on conceptual AI knowledge (e.g., ML fundamentals, NLP, prompt engineering, generative AI concepts).

Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with technical experts, instructional designers, and project managers to translate complex concepts into accessible learning content.

Educationalist Skills: Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and engaging classroom/virtual delivery techniques.

Phase 1 (Generic): First 3 months, covering fundamental concepts, baseline AI literacy, and general skills.
