Public Relations Intern Immediate Start

It’s hard out there for a soon-to-be college grad. That’s why Diffusion is committed to giving current students and/or those fresh out of college a place to kick-start their PR career through Diffusion’s paid Internship Program.

As a Diffusion Intern, you’ll be learning the ins and outs of agency life in an open and supportive environment. Our internship is specifically designed to provide current students and recent grads with the right mix of training and hands-on entry-level experience needed to be successful in the fast-paced industry of public relations.

We’re not one of those agencies looking for someone to get our coffee. Our interns work directly with specific teams to jump in with account and office administrative needs (you will become well versed in media clips!), while learning core PR skills. We’re looking for interns who ‘get’ PR – writing should be a passion, and we’re looking for persistent, natural problem solvers who are self-motivated. You’ll get the chance to work closely with our team to develop and hone your PR and communication skills, and to brainstorm new ideas for some of the biggest brands in consumer, travel and technology PR.

Diffusion believes in collaboration, but also flexibility, which is why we have a permanent hybrid work week with Tuesdays and Thursdays in the office, and the opportunity to work virtually on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The in-office schedule for interns is flexible, but interns should be able to come into the office at least 1x/week, with the option to work virtually on other non-office days. We offer competitive pay for all interns, many of whom go on to full-time careers at the agency.

Expected salary range: $18 per hour (up to 30 hours a week)
