Reporting to the Head – Priority Accounts, the Zonal Manager – North, Priority will lead the Priority business across the North Zone, with end-to-end accountability for zonal revenue, order booking, margin and market-share growth. The role will lead and develop a high-performing sales team, deepen strategic customer relationships, expand existing accounts and drive new-account acquisition. Success requires strong business leadership, customer focus, commercial discipline and talent development to deliver sustainable, profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the North Zone sales strategy and operating plan to deliver revenue, order booking, margin and market-share targets.
• Lead, coach and develop the Priority sales team; set clear goals, review performance and strengthen capability through regular field coaching and feedback.
• Build a high-performance culture through clear accountability, structured operating rhythms, actionable reviews and timely support.
• Drive disciplined funnel management, opportunity progression, forecast accuracy and SFDC hygiene to improve visibility, conversion and sales productivity.
• Accelerate new-customer acquisition, competitive socket penetration and wallet-share growth across existing Priority accounts.
• Lead value- and solution-based selling, account planning, commercial negotiations and execution of complex, high-value opportunities.
• Build trusted relationships with key customers and senior stakeholders; lead critical engagements and ensure a consistent customer experience.
• Partner effectively with Pre-Sales, Service, Commercial Excellence, Product Management, Business Support and other functions to develop solutions and remove execution roadblocks.
• Drive timely resolution of commercial and operational issues, including collections and customer escalations.
• Translate market trends, customer needs and competitive intelligence into focused growth initiatives and clear team actions.
• Build a strong talent pipeline through coaching, development planning, succession readiness and effective onboarding.

Travel

This is a field-intensive zonal leadership role requiring 4 days of travel per week across the North Region. Travel will primarily involve strategic customer engagements, joint field visits, team coaching, key opportunity development and business reviews, including regular overnight stays.

Essential Requirements

• 14+ Years of experience in direct B2B sales within industrial products, capital equipment, packaging, coding & marking, or a related solutions-led environment.
• Proven people-management experience, including leadership of geographically dispersed sales teams, performance coaching and talent development.
• Demonstrated ownership of a regional/zonal business with accountability for revenue, order booking, margin, forecasting and sales execution.
• Strong track record in account growth, new-customer acquisition, competitive displacement and complex solution selling.
• Strong commercial acumen with expertise in value selling, account planning, negotiation and senior-level customer engagement.
• Hands-on experience with CRM/SFDC, funnel management, forecasting and data-driven performance management.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, problem-solving and ability to convert market/customer insights into actionable priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent discipline; candidates with other degrees and strong relevant industrial sales leadership experience may also be considered.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the North Region, including overnight travel as required.
