Job Description

The Telesales Executive plays a crucial role in driving a company's sales revenue by selling products or services over the phone. Professionals in this role should possess excellent communication and persuasion skills to turn potential leads into satisfied customers. As a Telesales Executive, you will be expected to understand customer needs, present product benefits articulately, and close sales efficiently. Working often as part of a sales team, you will need to hit monthly targets while maintaining an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service.
  • Answer questions about products or the company to provide accurate information.
  • Manage and update customer databases to accurately reflect the customer lifecycle.
  • Convert leads generated through inbound calls into successful sales outcomes.
  • Maintain positive business relationships to ensure future sales and company reputation.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets on a monthly basis.
  • Create and utilize scripts for automated communications to improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other team members to optimize the sales performance process.
  • Develop new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls.
  • Collaborate with management to set ambitious but achievable revenue goals.
  • Prepare regular reports detailing outcomes and improvement recommendations.
  • Receive and document important customer feedback for further analysis and action.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience working as a telesales executive or similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to learn and effectively convey new product information.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to address client needs.
  • Proficient in using computers, CRM software, and MS Office applications.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a results-driven approach.
