Engineering Industries Excellence is looking for a Junior Developer – Application Support to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in C#, .NET, SQL, and JavaScript, along with exposure to application production support, troubleshooting, incident management, and bug fixing.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting business applications, investigating technical issues, resolving defects, and working with development and business teams to ensure application availability and smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 application support for .NET-based business applications.
• Monitor applications and respond to incidents, service requests, and production issues.
• Analyze application issues and perform root-cause analysis (RCA).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to C#, .NET, SQL, and JavaScript applications.
• Write and execute SQL queries for data validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Investigate application errors, logs, database issues, and integration failures.
• Perform bug fixing, minor enhancements, and application maintenance.
• Work closely with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support application releases, deployments, and post-production validation.
• Participate in incident/problem management and ensure issues are resolved within agreed SLAs.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge articles.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to application stability and performance.
• Support testing activities including SIT/UAT and regression testing when required.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with C# and .NET/.NET Framework.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript.
• Experience in application/production support.
• Ability to troubleshoot application and database-related issues.
• Understanding of SDLC and software/application maintenance processes.
• Knowledge of REST APIs/web services would be an advantage.
• Exposure to ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or similar tools is preferred.
• Basic understanding of Git/source-control tools is desirable.

Candidate Profile

• 1–3 years of experience in .NET development/application support.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a production support environment.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and business applications.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
