The India Public Sector Sales Team are seeking an experienced Solutions Sales Specialist to lead on direct sales of our Government Management solutions in India with a focus the Public Sector industry. In this role, you will bring deep product and industry expertise to identify, develop and close complex engagements with large Government institutions.

As a Sr Solutions Sales Specialist, you will:

• Develop and execute business development plan for Tax, Public Health and Social Benefits to generate revenue in line with current organization and individual targets, efforts including but not limited to uncovering business needs, initiating/ supporting GTM activities, helping integrate and implement solutions strategies into an overall account plan. 
• Generate/ qualify opportunities and identify resources required. Lead opportunity pursuits by managing and influencing requirements to gain competitive edge. Create and present sales proposals to successfully communicate the value of the company’s products and services at senior level.  
• Conduct and customize technical product demonstrations .
• Collaborate with pre-sales resources, virtual sales teams, account managers, and executives to ensure timely responses to qualified, high-revenue leads and strategic account development.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts, working cross-functionally to finalize agreements and set delivery schedules.
• Advance opportunity through milestone steps of sales cycle and forecast timeframes to close business. 
• Facilitate closure of complex sales. Assist with pricing negotiations and licensing questions. Engage with enterprise negotiations and licensing operations on price negotiations and licensing questions. 
• Post-close, transition customer to Professional Services for design/deployment. Track customer satisfaction levels and to discover additional revenue opportunities. 
• Help Product Management and/or Research and Development by providing information for future product direction as needed. 
• Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organizations secure software development goals.

Required qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of solution development to help the government earn better across tax, health and social benefits.
• Knowledge of advanced sales techniques preferably related to software acquisition cycles and buying influences. 
• Technical experience in Data & AI with the ability to conduct and customize product demonstrations.
• Expert skills in relating technical and business concepts to SAS applications and user needs and communicating them with clarity to different stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics and develop sales plans; work independently as well as effectively in a team environment; and travel as needed to support business activities.
• Bachelors degree or above, preferably in Business, Marketing, MIS, or other relevant discipline.
• Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
