We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Sports Teacher to join our dynamic educational institution. As a Sports Teacher, you will be responsible for inspiring students to actively participate in physical activities and promoting the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle. Your role will involve developing engaging curriculum that caters to the diverse needs of students, fostering an environment where all students can achieve their potential in sports. You will use your expertise to coach various sports, organize events and competitions, and implement effective training programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about sports, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and have a proven track record in sports education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive sports curriculum tailored to students' diverse needs.
• Foster an inclusive environment that encourages student participation in sports activities.
• Assess and track student performance and progress in various physical activities.
• Organize and supervise intramural and interschool sports competitions and events.
• Implement training programs to enhance students’ physical abilities and skills.
• Collaborate with school administration to plan and execute sports activities and programs.
• Maintain sports equipment and ensure its proper use and safety during sessions.
• Encourage students to adopt healthy lifestyle habits and wellness practices.
• Cultivate a positive and motivating atmosphere conducive to physical education.
• Ensure compliance with school policies and national regulations regarding sports teaching.
• Provide guidance and support to students in choosing and improving in their sport of interest.
• Manage team selections and establish a fair and engaging sports committee with students.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in teaching sports at a school or educational institute.
• Strong knowledge of various sports and ability to teach multiple disciplines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds effectively.
• Display of organizational skills for planning and supervising sports-related activities.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly preferred for this role.
