A Server Network Admin is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and infrastructure for the network. This crucial role involves supporting the organization's mission-critical IT operations and ensuring network security and stability. The Server Network Admin will work collaboratively to evaluate and deploy advanced network systems and solutions. Responsibilities

• Install and configure network servers, including operating systems and applications.
• Monitor server performance and ensure network availability for optimal operation.
• Implement and manage security measures to safeguard IT infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot hardware or software issues and resolve them efficiently.
• Manage user access and security permissions to protect sensitive data.
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to develop network system architecture.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and network diagrams.
• Provide technical support and training to staff when necessary.
• Regularly update and patch systems to maintain security and performance.
• Monitor network traffic and optimize performance through regular audits.
• Ensure data protection and recovery plans are in place and tested.
• Evaluate and recommend software, hardware, and other resources for network improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.
• In-depth understanding of networking protocols and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with server management and network security systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and support.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or MCSE are preferred.
