Job Description

The Senior Facilities Manager is a highly experienced professional responsible for overseeing the daily operations of all facilities within an organization. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on management to ensure that all building systems, safety protocols, and maintenance operations are executed effectively. The Senior Facilities Manager also plays a crucial role in budget management, contractor supervision, and the implementation of facility improvement programs. This individual must possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle complex projects with ease. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of all building facilities and systems.
  • Develop and implement strategic facility management plans to meet organizational goals.
  • Manage budgets and expenses related to facilities maintenance and improvement projects.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and service providers to ensure quality services.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Lead a team of facility management staff, providing training and development opportunities.
  • Implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
  • Prepare and present reports on facility management activities and performance metrics.
  • Oversee security operations to protect organizational assets and personnel.
  • Coordinate space planning and office relocations in accordance with company growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support company events and special projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in facilities management or related role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with proven experience.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities are essential.
  • Proven knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety standards.
  • Ability to develop and manage budgets and financial reports with accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proficiency in facilities management software and other relevant technology.
