Job Description

The Senior Facilities Manager position is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the comprehensive management of our facilities and ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. This role demands strong leadership skills, extensive facilities management experience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be in charge of a diverse team and collaborate closely with various departments to optimize facility operations and enhance the physical environment. Your primary goal is to maintain high standards of service, safety, and sustainability while adhering to budgetary constraints. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and maintenance of all organizational facilities effectively.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the facilities management team across various sites.
  • Develop comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules to ensure facility efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address facility-related issues promptly.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure high service standards.
  • Monitor facilities' compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets for facility operations, projects, and initiatives.
  • Propose and implement energy-efficient solutions to reduce operational costs.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for facility-related activities.
  • Plan and execute refurbishment, renovations, and other building improvement projects.
  • Coordinate emergency response and disaster recovery planning for all facilities.
  • Evaluate and implement innovative practices in facilities management for improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in facilities management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with proven experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of facilities management practices and regulatory standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high performance.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in facilities management software and technology tools.
