The Senior Data Scientist position is a critical role within our organization that involves leveraging advanced analytical, statistical, and computational techniques to drive data-driven decision-making and strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of machine learning, data mining, and statistical analysis, along with the ability to transform raw data into actionable insights. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will work closely with other data scientists, data engineers, and stakeholders across various departments to identify opportunities for leveraging company data, design and implement complex algorithms, and communicate findings to influence and drive strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in data science, be proficient with popular data science toolkits, and possess excellent communication skills to articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced machine learning models to solve complex business problems effectively.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify relevant data sources and metrics.
• Design and implement data pipelines for data collection, cleaning, and transformation.
• Analyze large datasets to derive actionable insights and drive business strategies.
• Communicate results and insights to executive leadership and other key stakeholders.
• Mentor junior data scientists, providing guidance on method selection and code reviews.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning technologies.
• Work with domain experts to understand and interpret data in a business context.
• Develop dashboards and reports to visualize and track key performance metrics.
• Deploy machine learning models into production environments efficiently and effectively.
• Critically evaluate model performance and suggest improvements as part of the model lifecycle.
• Conduct A/B testing and assess the impact of changes through controlled experiments.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in data science or similar analytical roles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies or insights.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts clearly.
