Job Description

The role of Senior Business Analyst is critical within an organization, serving as a bridge between IT and business stakeholders. In this position, you are expected to have a thorough understanding of business operations, and leverage your analytical skills to drive insights that inform strategic decisions. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work alongside other business analysts and report to the project manager. Your primary role will be to conduct research and analysis to improve business processes, products, and services. Besides gathering and validating business needs, you will also play a strong role in project management, ensuring business requirements are met efficiently. This position requires a blend of technological and soft skills, and the ability to communicate complex data insights in an understandable way to non-technical stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of business operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Gather, validate, and document business requirements for new projects or initiatives.
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to drive project discussions and goal setting.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure technical solutions align with business requirements.
  • Create detailed documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate findings.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance business efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead the development of business cases to justify the investment in new projects.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with the defined goals and scope.
  • Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies for potential project risks.
  • Liaise between business units and IT departments to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to maintain competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a senior capacity.
  • Strong understanding of business operations and processes within the industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using data analysis tools and business intelligence software.
  • Strong project management skills with experience driving large-scale initiatives.
