Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger responsibilities.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with the management team to develop and manage financial budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity to support business operations and growth strategies.
• Conduct regular financial audits and ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with the external auditors to streamline the auditing process and fulfill requirements efficiently.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to assist in strategic decision-making and business planning.
• Manage fixed assets accounting, including reconciliation and reporting of asset transactions.
• Ensure timely completion of all tax-related filings and maintain appropriate documentation for audits.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff to improve skills and ensure department effectiveness.
• Implement and optimize accounting software systems to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Assist in financial modelling and analysis during mergers, acquisitions, or expansions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or luxury sectors.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principles is essential.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
