SAP AP FICO Consultant (225-1002)

We are seeking a skilled SAP AP FICO Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing and managing SAP FICO modules with a focus on Accounts Payable (AP). In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and enhancing SAP solutions to meet business needs. As an SAP AP FICO Consultant, you will collaborate with stakeholders across various departments, providing crucial input and support to optimize financial processes and improve overall operational efficiency. You will also lead the integration of SAP systems, ensuring seamless workflows and data integrity throughout the financial architecture. An understanding of accounting principles and industry-specific regulations is vital for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business requirements and map them to SAP FICO functionality.
• Configure the SAP FICO module with a focus on Accounts Payable processes.
• Develop and execute test scripts to validate system configurations and enhancements.
• Provide expert advice on SAP system integration and optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze financial data requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the Accounts Payable workflow.
• Deliver end-user training and support for SAP FICO functionalities and processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements through system configurations.
• Oversee the migration of financial data during SAP system upgrades or enhancements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation on system configurations and process flows.
• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Coordinate with IT teams to resolve technical issues and optimize SAP performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in SAP FICO implementation and support roles.
• Proven ability to configure SAP FICO modules with emphasis on Accounts Payable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial data analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with SAP system migrations, upgrades, and integration projects.
