The SAP AP FICO Consultant plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the financial accounting and controlling processes of an organization. With their expertise in SAP modules, particularly Accounts Payable (AP) and Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO), they ensure that financial operations are seamless, efficient, and aligned with business objectives. They are responsible for analyzing complex financial scenarios, customizing the SAP system to meet specific needs, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This position not only requires technical proficiency in SAP FICO/AP modules but also strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an ability to communicate effectively with different teams to support the organization’s financial management and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and identify company needs to provide customized SAP FICO solutions.
• Design, implement, and configure SAP AP and FICO modules effectively.
• Conduct requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders to understand needs.

• Prepare project documentation, including design specifications and training materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in SAP FICO module implementation and support.
