Job Description

A Sales Executive in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector plays a crucial role in driving sales and market penetration for a wide range of consumer products. This dynamic position involves developing and executing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with distributors and retailers, and identifying growth opportunities to increase market share. Sales Executives need to stay updated with market trends and consumer preferences to effectively promote products. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and targets.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with retail and distribution partners.
  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities to drive business growth.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about consumer trends and competitive landscape.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to maximize profits.
  • Coordinating with marketing on promotional activities to increase brand visibility and product reach.
  • Monitor sales performance and generate reports to track progress against targets.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve any issues to maintain satisfaction.
  • Provide feedback to senior management on market dynamics and sales performance.
  • Train and mentor junior sales staff to enhance team capabilities and performance.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • Proven experience in a sales role within the FMCG sector is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and data to inform sales strategies.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and industry events.
