Job Description

As a Sales Associate, you will be playing a key role in driving the company's sales and revenue goals, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and contributing to a smooth sales process. You will act as a primary point of contact between the company and its clients, helping to answer inquiries, manage transactions, and support promotional efforts to enhance brand visibility and market share. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills, a proactive approach to building customer relationships, and a keen understanding of the sales process. By delivering outstanding customer service and meeting sales targets, you will foster strong customer relationships, thereby contributing to repeat business and customer loyalty.


Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage customers to create a welcoming shopping environment.
  • Identify customer needs and provide expert recommendations on suitable products.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current promotions and special offers.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point of sale system.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Assist in organizing and replenishing sales floor and stock areas as needed.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to strategy discussions.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets through proactive selling strategies.
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to enhance customer experiences.
  • Ensure the sales floor is tidy and presentable, in line with company standards.
  • Track and report on sales metrics, customer feedback, and market trends regularly.
  • Support the execution of promotional events, displays, and any necessary set-ups.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a sales associate or in another customer-oriented role.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and tailor recommendations accordingly.
  • Basic proficiency in using computers and point of sale systems is required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and strong organizational skills.
