Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly, ensuring a welcoming store environment is maintained.
  • Assist customers in locating the products they request within the store.
  • Provide product information, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Utilize persuasive skills to upsell and promote additional products effectively.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards to enhance the store's aesthetic appeal.
  • Process cash registers with attention to accuracy and customer service speed.
  • Handle returns and exchanges following company policy and procedures precisely.
  • Monitor inventory levels, reporting discrepancies or shortages to the supervisor.
  • Ensure that the sales floor, stockroom, and all areas are clean and organized.
  • Participate in stocktaking and inventory management activities as assigned.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, including new arrivals and promotions.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve and exceed sales targets collectively.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education qualification is necessary.
  • Prior retail or sales experience is preferred but not mandatory for the role.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse clientele.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as necessary.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and operating the sales register efficiently.
  • Strong customer service skills focusing on solving client inquiries effectively.
  • A positive attitude with the motivation to meet and exceed sales targets consistently.
