Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Repairs & Maintenance Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, coordinating repair activities, and ensuring that all facilities and equipment are in excellent working condition. As a key leader, you will manage a team of maintenance professionals, develop preventive maintenance plans, and ensure all repair tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Your goal will be to minimize downtime, reduce costs, and enhance the reliability and performance of our assets. This role demands strong problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a passion for maintaining a safe and productive work environment.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to enhance equipment performance.
  • Coordinate and oversee all repair and maintenance activities across the facility.
  • Manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing training and support as needed.
  • Monitor maintenance budgets, ensuring expenses are kept within approved limits.
  • Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
  • Maintain records of all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate the smooth operation of the facility.
  • Ensure all maintenance work is performed safely and in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors for required repairs and maintenance services.
  • Analyze breakdowns, diagnose faults, and implement corrective measures effectively.
  • Schedule maintenance shifts and monitor performance to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Stay updated with industry advancements and recommend new maintenance technologies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Repairs & Maintenance Manager or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems and processes.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail in maintenance execution.
  • Good understanding of budgeting and cost control principles in maintenance projects.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance regulations.
