The Global Delivery Centre (GDC) in Gurugram is ERM’s global operating backbone. It delivers business enablement services in Finance, HR, IT, and Commercial Operations to ensure ERM’s global business runs seamlessly, efficiently, and consistently.
At the GDC, you will:

Collaborate with colleagues across geographies to support global operations.
Drive consistency, compliance, and efficiency in core functions.
Work with digital, automation, and AI-enabled tools to optimise how ERM operates.
Work in shifts where required, depending on the role. As processes mature and automation increases, reliance on shifts will reduce.
Why this role matters?
As a Record to Report Associate, you will support ERM’s global delivery by executing end-to-end accounting processes including month-end close, general ledger management, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance activities. You will work within Business Enablement Team, partnering with global stakeholders to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial statements while supporting audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Successfully manage month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Improved accuracy of financial statements through detailed balance sheet reconciliations and journal entry reviews.
Streamlined RTR processes, reducing turnaround time and enhancing operational efficiency.
Supporting internal and external audits by maintaining strong controls and complete documentation.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues, ensuring compliance and reporting accuracy.
Contributing to process transitions and continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing productivity and service quality.
What will you bring?
3-5 years of experience in R2R, General Ledger, and Payroll Accounting.
Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting controls.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday.
Proficient in payroll reconciliations, salary accruals, and payroll journal entries.
Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective stakeholder management and communication skills across Finance, HR, and Payroll teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced Shared Services/GBS environment and meet strict reporting deadlines.
Preferred qualifications, skills & competencies
Exposure to Global Business Services (GBS), Shared Services, or multinational environments.
Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or Dynamics 365.
Experience with payroll accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities.
Exposure to automation tools, Power BI, Alteryx, RPA, or AI-enabled finance solutions.
Experience in process improvement, standardization, and transition projects.
Key responsibilities
1. Month-End Close & Reporting
Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
Prepare journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports.
Analyze financial results and variances vs. budget/forecast.
2. General Ledger (GL) Accounting
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Review and validate entries for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Support chart of accounts maintenance and mapping activities.
3. Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Perform reconciliations for bank, intercompany, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and other key accounts.
Investigate discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain documentation as per audit and policy requirements.
4. Intercompany Activities
Process intercompany billings, settlements, and confirmations.
Resolve mismatches and discrepancies working with global teams.
5. Fixed Assets Accounting (if applicable)
Maintain asset register and execute capitalization/disposals.
Process depreciation runs and reconciles fixed asset schedules.
6. Process Improvement
Identify gaps and propose automation or standardization opportunities.
Participate in transitions, migrations, and system enhancement projects.
