Job Description

As a Purchase Executive, you will play a crucial role in the procurement process by ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services necessary for the operations of the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to source quality materials, negotiate with suppliers, and manage the procurement process efficiently to meet the company's objectives. You will be working closely with various departments to determine their needs and to ensure that these requirements are met with the best possible terms and conditions. Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate suppliers, ensuring cost-effective procurement of quality materials.
  • Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best deals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to forecast future purchase requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze purchase reports to determine compliance with financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand and meet their procurement needs.
  • Evaluate historical purchasing patterns to improve the efficiency of procurement strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and procurement protocols.
  • Conduct market research to identify better quality products and suppliers.
  • Track and manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise with the supply chain or vendors.
  • Stay informed on industry and market trends to inform strategic purchasing decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation and contractual skills to secure favorable supplier agreements.
  • Proficiency in purchasing and inventory management software tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make sound purchasing decisions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective vendor relations.
