Job Description

As a Purchase Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving procurement strategies and ensuring the seamless flow of goods and services necessary for business operations. Responsibilities

  • Conduct supplier evaluations to ensure quality and reliability in delivery.
  • Negotiate prices and contract terms with vendors to achieve cost-effective deals.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other crucial data.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and supply needs.
  • Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand to avoid supply shortages.
  • Review and analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in procurement.
  • Manage the supplier database and build strong vendor relationships.
  • Resolve issues related to purchase orders and delivery discrepancies timely.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on purchase activities and results.
  • Work with finance team to manage budgets and organizational purchasing needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination.
  • Proficiency in using procurement management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance data effectively.
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
