Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand and meet their procurement needs.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and adherence to terms.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to balance inventory levels and delivery schedules.
  • Analyze market trends to predict future purchasing needs and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and any relevant government regulations.
  • Prepare procurement reports and forecasts to inform executive decision-making.
  • Monitor purchase orders and resolve issues with suppliers as needed.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement department.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior procurement staff when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement or a similar role required.
  • Strong negotiation skills and proven ability to manage supplier relationships.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to assess complex procurement data.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising and negotiating.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal supervision.
