Job Description

The Production Officer is a pivotal role within our manufacturing operations, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day production processes to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently. This role demands a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage both people and resources. The Production Officer will collaborate closely with various departments including Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Engineering to ensure products meet quality standards and deadlines. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily production process and ensure timely completion of operations.

  • Coordinate between departments to ensure product quality and compliance with standards.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency.
  • Train and supervise production staff to maximize performance and output.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure safety and quality compliance.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels to support uninterrupted production operations.
  • Resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and loss.
  • Prepare and present reports on production performance and operational efficiency.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in all production activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and quality assurance standards.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for interaction with team members.
