Job Description

The Product Merchandiser plays a crucial role in the retail industry by ensuring that products are presented in a manner that attracts customers and drives sales. Responsibilities

  • Maintain product knowledge to accurately present product features and benefits.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to replenish stock.
  • Ensure that all displayed products are priced and tagged correctly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to bring innovative merchandising ideas.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to synchronize promotional activities.
  • Assist in the training of in-store staff on effective merchandising techniques.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about competitive merchandising strategies.
  • Evaluate the performance of merchandising strategies and adjust as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in retail merchandising or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in merchandising setups.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and merchandising software tools.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration.
