We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team of healthcare professionals and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for the accurate dispensing of medications, providing pharmacological information to multidisciplinary health care teams, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical products. Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense medications as per the prescriber’s instructions and pharmaceutical standards.
• Provide guidance and answer questions posed by patients and healthcare professionals.
• Review physician orders and prepare medications by compounding, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals.
• Evaluate the appropriateness of prescribed medication for the patient’s clinical profile.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy.
• Monitor patient medication therapies and advise on intervention when necessary.
• Ensure pharmacy compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws.
• Educate patients on proper medication use, diet, and exercise to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Coordinate with pharmaceutical companies for the supply and storage of stock items.
• Participate in the management of adverse drug reactions and medication errors.
• Conduct staff education and training sessions on new medications and protocols.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure to practice pharmacy.
• Proven experience as a pharmacist in hospital or retail pharmacy settings.
• Strong understanding of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and drug interactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively educate patients.
• Proficient in pharmacy management software and other relevant pharmaceutical tools.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to prioritizing patient safety and quality care.
