Network Engineer 30J25

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT department. Responsibilities

• Design and implement local area networks, including co-location networks and systems.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Configure firewalls, routers, switches, and other networking devices as needed.
• Analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems promptly.
• Establish and maintain documentation of network architectures and setups.
• Work closely with network vendors to keep up with innovative solutions.
• Implement security measures to protect networks from potential threats.
• Coordinate with IT support teams to ensure user issues are resolved efficiently.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members and staff on network usage.
• Maintain a record of network upgrades, maintenance, and repairs.
• Assess and implement necessary network improvements based on capacity planning.
• Analyze business needs to identify and recommend technology improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Network Engineering or similar roles.
• Hands-on experience with network security measures and practices is essential.
• Proficiency in using network monitoring tools and diagnostic methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of networking hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
