We are looking for a National Head - Sales & Marketing for our client who is into the water treatment and waste management industry. This role carries strategic, commercial, and leadership responsibility for building long-term institutional relationships, shaping national sales strategy, and driving large-scale government order inflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the pan-India government sales strategy
- Identify and prioritise high-impact programmes such as Swachh Bharat Mission, AMRUT, Jal Jeevan Mission, Smart Cities, Port & Coastal Infrastructure, Defence & Railways
- Lead acquisition of high-value government and PSU orders at State and National levels
- Oversee the full tender lifecycle
- Provide strategic direction on QCBS, EPC, BOQ, rate contracts, PPP and nomination-based opportunities
- Represent the company in high-level meetings, government presentations, pilot discussions, and MoUs
- Build, mentor, and lead a national government sales organisation
- Drive a culture of accountability, ethical conduct, and execution excellence
- Provide Market Intelligence & Strategic Input:
Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in Government / PSU sales and business development
- Proven track record of winning and scaling national-level government businesses
- Background in infrastructure, urban services, environmental engineering, water & wastewater, solid waste, industrial or specialised machinery solutions
