Job Description

As a Management Information Systems (MIS) Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and management of our organization's information systems. You will be responsible for overseeing the integration, implementation, and coordination of information systems tailored to meet the specific needs of the business. Your expertise will drive the effective use of technology to enhance company operations, manage data resources, and support decision-making processes. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of MIS systems to ensure full functionality.
  • Coordinate with departments to identify information system needs and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, processes, and policies for MIS.
  • Implement new applications and improvements in existing systems for efficiency.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise promptly.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within the organization's information systems.
  • Train staff on the use of new technologies and MIS procedures effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with IT professionals to integrate solutions seamlessly.
  • Create detailed reports and analytics for management using MIS tools.
  • Liaise with vendors to manage software procurement and system upgrades.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to determine their potential impact on the organization.
  • Develop and administer system manuals and user guides for the staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in information systems management.
  • Proficiency in database management and various MIS software applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
  • Experience in training staff and creating system documentation is preferred.
