Job Description

Develop competitive ocean import pricing strategies aligned with business and profitability targets.
Negotiate rates and secure competitive contracts with shipping lines, co-loaders, and overseas agents.
Optimize carrier mix, procurement costs, and buy-sell margins.
Monitor freight market trends, competitor pricing, and capacity availability.
Ensure timely and accurate quotations, rate updates, and pricing approvals.
Partner with Sales and Operations teams to support new business and customer retention.
Track quotation conversion, pricing performance, and profitability; drive corrective actions.
Ensure pricing governance, rate database accuracy, and adherence to approval matrices.
Lead the pricing team to ensure turnaround time, accuracy, and service quality.
