Job Description

The Mall Operations Supervisor is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a shopping mall. This position acts as a bridge between various departments to ensure that the mall runs smoothly and efficiently. The role demands a dynamic and proactive individual with outstanding leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a strong understanding of retail and facility management. The Mall Operations Supervisor ensures all operations are conducted in a professional manner, providing a safe and welcoming environment for shoppers and tenants. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily operations, ensuring that all mall services run without interruption.
  • Supervise cleaning and maintenance teams to uphold a pristine environment at all times.
  • Manage tenant relationships to address concerns and facilitate effective communication.
  • Oversee security operations to ensure the safety of all patrons and employees.
  • Monitor mall traffic and work with marketing teams to enhance customer experience.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of facility operations.
  • Handle emergency situations promptly and coordinate with appropriate services as needed.
  • Assist in the management of the mall budget and track operational costs diligently.
  • Prepare and present reports on mall performance and improvements to senior management.
  • Implement and enforce mall regulations and policies to all stakeholders effectively.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely availability of necessary supplies.
  • Organize and lead team meetings to ensure effective operational communication and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail or facility management.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing diverse teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities tailored to fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software applications.
