Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced professional with strong expertise in React/JavaScript and Liferay to lead our frontend engineering initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for driving frontend architecture, mentoring a team of developers, and delivering scalable, high-performance, and responsive enterprise web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade frontend applications using the React ecosystem (React, Redux, ClayUI, and related libraries).
• Lead and mentor frontend developers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and support for skill development.
• Design and implement reusable, scalable, and maintainable frontend components and shared libraries.
• Ensure responsive, pixel-perfect UI/UX implementation from wireframes and design specifications.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, scalability, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Drive frontend quality practices including code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
• Implement secure frontend development practices including authentication and authorization mechanisms such as auth0 and JWT.
• Participate in technical solution discussions, estimation, sprint planning, and delivery governance activities.
• Ensure adherence to CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, release processes, and DevOps best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex frontend issues and provide technical leadership during production incidents and critical releases.
• Candidate should be comfortable working in both technical leadership and hands-on individual contributor capacities, actively participating in development activities

Job Requirements:

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8- 10 years of hands-on experience in frontend development .
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend frameworks/libraries.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component-driven development, and scalable UI design principles.
• Experience with client-side scripting technologies such as jQuery, JSON, AJAX, and related UI technologies.
• Expertise in building reusable, maintainable, and efficient frontend components and libraries.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and frontend best practices.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Strong experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, Cypress, or Protractor.
• Experience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms including auth0 and JWT.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Liferay CE 7.4.x and Java is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
