The Laser Cutting Technician is a vital role within our manufacturing department, responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components according to specified dimensions and tolerances. In this position, the technician will interpret blueprints, conduct regular maintenance, and ensure that all parts conform to quality and safety standards. Responsibilities

• Operate laser cutting machines to manufacture components as per design specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints accurately for production.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laser cutting machinery.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality control standards.
• Adjust machine settings to improve production efficiency and material usage.
• Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns promptly to management.
• Monitor production processes to ensure ongoing compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues and optimize performance.
• Keep detailed records of machine operations and production output.
• Adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements within the manufacturing facility.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Laser Cutting Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with CAD software used in designing parts and components.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of precision in work.
• Good understanding of safety standards and practices within a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser cutting machines.
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and documentation purposes.
