The Lab Assistant 02D25 position is an essential role within our research and development department. As a Lab Assistant, you will support the day-to-day operations of our laboratory facilities, ensuring that all procedures are followed meticulously to maintain the safety and quality standards of our scientific investigations. You will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of lab instruments and tools, as well as helping researchers with their experimental tasks. Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and setup of laboratory experiments and tests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory to ensure efficient workflow.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Handle and dispose of biological and chemical waste in accordance with regulations.
• Monitor and record laboratory data and experiment results accurately and promptly.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment according to maintenance schedules.
• Support researchers with technical assistance and preparation of test samples.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely acquisition of laboratory supplies and materials.
• Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments and tools.
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of substances and materials used in experiments.
• Assist in compiling and organizing data for research reports and presentations.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss results, issues, and improvements in lab procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related science field is required.
• Previous laboratory experience is preferred, though not mandatory for application.
• Strong understanding of laboratory safety procedures and chemical handling protocols.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in managing lab duties.
• Proficiency in using standard laboratory equipment and instruments effectively.
• Good communication skills to assist in data interpretation and team collaboration.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on laboratory equipment as needed.
