Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the effective management and maintenance of our organization's IT infrastructure. You will be tasked with providing technical support to our staff and ensuring that all IT systems function efficiently. As an IT Support Officer, you will diagnose and resolve technical issues both remotely and onsite, ensuring minimal disruption to the organization's operations. Additionally, you will play a key role in the upgrading and implementation of new IT solutions to enhance organizational productivity. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent problem-solving skills, and can communicate technical concepts to non-technical users effectively.


Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-level technical support to all company employees.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and related software.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across the network.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure smooth operations.
  • Document solutions and maintain knowledge bases for recurring issues.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for specialized IT support services.
  • Implement and maintain security measures for data protection and privacy.
  • Assist in IT procurement processes and maintain IT inventory records.
  • Provide training and support to users on new technologies and software.
  • Conduct regular system audits to assess security and performance issues.
  • Prepare reports on IT performance metrics and project progress regularly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems and applications.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Exchange Server, and Office 365.
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices and processes is highly desirable.
