Job Description

As an HR Operations, Compensation & Benefits Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing, managing, and executing a comprehensive compensation and benefits strategy for our organization. Your expertise will ensure that our human resources operations run smoothly while aligning compensation and benefits with our company goals. You will utilize your knowledge and experience to analyze market trends, evaluate our existing programs, and recommend enhancements to ensure we remain competitive. You will interface with multiple departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless HR operations, and maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws regarding compensation and benefits. Your role will also involve providing guidance and support to employees regarding compensation and benefits-related queries and issues, ensuring that they are fully informed and satisfied with their benefits package.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Conduct regular market analysis to ensure competitive compensation and benefits offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations concerning compensation and employee benefits.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand specific compensation and benefits needs.
  • Oversee the administration of the organization's payroll and benefits systems.
  • Prepare and present reports on compensation and benefits program performance metrics.
  • Evaluate current compensation policies and modify procedures to improve effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for benefits administration and renewals.
  • Assist in the resolution of compensation and benefits-related issues and inquiries.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping for benefits plans, compensation records, and HR data.
  • Develop and lead compensation and benefits training sessions for employees.
  • Advise management on compensation and benefits strategies to attract and retain talent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in compensation and benefits administration.
  • Strong understanding of current compensation and benefits regulations and trends.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems and related HR software applications.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
