As a Housekeeping Executive, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and orderliness in our establishment. Your primary focus will be to ensure that all areas of the facility are immaculately clean, well-organized, and safely maintained to provide a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. In this leadership position, your expertise in managing housekeeping operations, training staff, and implementing best practices will be crucial in enhancing the overall guest experience. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and address any housekeeping issues promptly and effectively. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility.
  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas for standards compliance.
  • Plan and coordinate housekeeping staff schedules, ensuring optimal workforce allocation.
  • Train and mentor housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of service and cleanliness.
  • Implement and monitor inventory control systems for housekeeping supplies and equipment.
  • Develop and update housekeeping policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with maintenance for timely repair and upkeep of the facility.
  • Collaborate with the front office and other departments to address guest requests and complaints.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to housekeeping staff.
  • Prepare reports on housekeeping operations, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in all housekeeping activities.
  • Manage and monitor housekeeping budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or equivalent preferred, not mandatory.
  • Proven experience in a housekeeping supervisory or executive role within hospitality.
  • Strong understanding of housekeeping operations and best practices in a hospitality setting.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills to inspire and guide the team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments to meet organizational goals.
  • Proficiency in computerized housekeeping systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards applicable to the housekeeping sector.
