Job Description

The Housekeeping Associate 04D25 plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment for guests and staff within a variety of settings such as hotels, resorts, or hospitals. This position demands a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and comfort are met daily. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for performing a range of cleaning duties that contribute to the overall quality and experience of the facility. Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and offices daily.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors.
  • Replenish supplies such as toiletries, linens, and other amenities as needed.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is used and stored correctly and safely.
  • Assist with laundry duties including sorting, washing, and folding linens.
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of all guests and property.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines consistently and responsibly.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report low stock levels immediately.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Participate in training sessions to keep up with cleaning techniques and protocols.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred.
  • Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy items.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
