Head Of Technology From Fintech Only

About The Role

We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Head of Technology with strong experience in the Fintech domain. The ideal candidate will lead the technology strategy, drive digital innovation, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance systems aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technology roadmap aligned with business objectives
• Lead end-to-end technology architecture, development, and infrastructure
• Drive scalable fintech platforms, including payments, lending, wallets, or banking systems
• Ensure high availability, security, and compliance (RBI, PCI-DSS, GDPR, etc.)
• Lead engineering, DevOps, and data teams with strong people management
• Implement best practices in cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP) and microservices architecture
• Oversee product development lifecycle (Agile/Scrum methodologies)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Compliance, and Business
• Drive automation, AI/ML adoption, and emerging fintech innovations
• Ensure cybersecurity standards and risk management frameworks
• Manage vendor relationships, third-party integrations, and APIs
• Optimize system performance, cost, and scalability
  
  

• 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles
• Mandatory experience in Fintech (Payments, NBFC, Lending, Banking, Insurtech, etc.)
• Strong background in system architecture, cloud infrastructure, and scalable systems
• Hands-on experience with modern tech stacks (Java, Python, Node.js, etc.)
• Deep understanding of financial systems, APIs, and regulatory frameworks
• Proven experience in leading large engineering teams
• Experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
• Knowledge of data security, encryption, fraud detection systems
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities
  
  

• Experience working with high-growth startups or fintech scale-ups
• Exposure to blockchain, digital payments, UPI, or neo-banking platforms
• MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus
