Job Description

As a Guest Service Associate - Front Office, you will be the face of our organization, representing our commitment to outstanding guest service and seamless operations. Your primary role will entail welcoming guests, ensuring they feel valued, respected, and well-taken care of throughout their stay. You'll manage reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and provide information on hotel amenities, services, and local attractions. You'll also handle guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction, embodying our brand's high standards. Being at the forefront of guest interaction, you’ll be key in shaping first impressions and ensuring our guests have memorable experiences from the moment they walk through the door.


Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome all guests warmly upon arrival at the front desk.
  • Efficiently manage guest check-ins by confirming reservations and room assignments.
  • Handle guest check-outs seamlessly, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate.
  • Provide information on hotel amenities, services, and nearby attractions available.
  • Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly, maintaining guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest room readiness.
  • Maintain privacy and confidentiality of guest records and financial transactions.
  • Process payments and verify methods of payment as per company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and quality standards at all times.
  • Assist guests in modifying reservations or booking additional services as needed.
  • Communicate important guest information and feedback to relevant departments.
  • Stay updated on current hotel promotions and offer them to prospective guests.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in customer service or a hotel front desk role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and basic computer skills required.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach are essential.
