Job Description

The Field Executive for Construction plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish. This position requires strong leadership skills combined with on-the-ground expertise. The Field Executive will oversee construction activities, ensure adherence to safety protocols, manage budgets, and lead a team of construction professionals to deliver projects on time and within specified quality standards. Working closely with contractors, architects, and clients, the role demands excellent communication and organizational abilities. Ideal candidates should have a deep understanding of construction processes, keen attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively while maintaining a clear vision of project goals.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all construction site activities and operations efficiently.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget limits.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment.
  • Inspect construction sites regularly to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Implement comprehensive safety protocols to minimize risks and hazards onsite.
  • Conduct site meetings to assess progress and address any concerns with stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to upper management and clients.
  • Manage equipment and material logistics to ensure timely delivery and use.
  • Hire, train, and supervise construction personnel to optimize productivity and skills.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors for projects.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and quality standards in all projects.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets to guide construction efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a construction management or executive role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire teams effectively.
  • Proven track record of successfully completed construction projects on schedule.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with all levels of stakeholders and staff.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office Suite necessary.
