Job Description

As an Executive in Accounts Payables, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial obligations and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payments within an organization. You will be responsible for verifying and reconciling invoices, maintaining vendor records, and handling queries related to accounts payable, creating an efficient and organized flow of payable operations. A keen eye for detail and analytical skills will be crucial in managing financial data, addressing discrepancies, and collaborating with other departments to support financial integrity and efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Review and verify invoices and check requests for accurate processing and payment.
  • Manage electronic payment runs and ensure adherence to financial schedules.
  • Maintain up-to-date vendor files and respond to inquiries from suppliers.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions with vendor statements regularly.
  • Conduct monthly analysis and generate accurate accounts payable reports.
  • Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and financial regulations in operations.
  • Assist in the month-end closing processes and yearly audits efficiently.
  • Provide support in developing and implementing efficient accounts payable procedures.
  • Manage petty cash fund and ensure accountability in fund transactions.
  • Oversee the accounts payable ledger and correct any discrepancies promptly.
  • Participate actively in profitability improvement and cost reduction initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in accounts payable or finance roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant accounting software and proficient in MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a knack for precise financial data management.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple tasks.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal departments.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential financial information responsibly.
