Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our growing team. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconcile bank statements to ensure consistency with recorded transactions.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing process with precision and timeliness.
  • Maintain general ledger entries and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Assist with budgeting activities, including preparing budget forecasts.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports in compliance with company guidelines.
  • Assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.
  • Monitor expenditure and identify potential areas for cost reduction.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and communications.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance department as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or financial role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.
  • Integrity and reliability, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
